Community: About Playstation Gamers Online |
Playstation Gamers Online aren't just a clan, we are a community and our community is strong. We have roughly 40 - 50 active members. PGO welcomes all gamers with no boundaries on skill level or games played. There are many benefits to being in a clan but the benefits of being part of a community are much greater. Many of our site visitors have found a great community and a group of friendly people to share their online gaming experience with, and have offered their experience of PGO for visitors to get a feel for the community and what we're about.

I joined PGO in December 2007, when I was looking for people to game with in my new found online gaming on Playstation 3 (had never gamed online before I bought a PS3 and Warhawk was my first online game). I found PGO through the official Playstation forums, came along to the site and received a warm welcome from Daniel Fullard and the guys. Since then I've never looked back, and I've found myself gaming with people I'd happily call my friends from all over the country and some further afield. I now help out with the running of the site and am approaching 2 years' membership of the community, which I look forward to continuing.

I joined PGO in February 2008, I had been bought a PS3 for my birthday and needed some online friends to play fifa and COD with, as we all know there can be some weirdo’s around on PSN (I don’t seem to have shaken one of them off this dazmaz fella lol). I found PGO through Google just typing in Playstation gamers which brought me on forum with links to both the old and new PGO site as they were going through a transition, came along to the site and received a warm welcome from Daniel Fullard and the guys, joining in with Morton’s meet and greet happy hours on COD4. Well since all of that ive met some mixed skilled gamers but more importantly friendly gamers, there’s always been someone to game with or chat to through good times and bad. Through being part of PGO ive met a lot of other friendly clans and I also help out in running the UKFSL site with members of PGO and ST1. I do help out on the site here and there and try to encourage new members to join etc. Morton’s beatch I think is the technical term lol. Anyway its been a good year and a bit roll on 2 years in Feb  .

I joined PGO in February 09, soon after I decided it was time to get gaming online n time to join a clan. I posted up a thread on the offical ps forums n Morton was one of the first people to reply, so I came over to the forums posted up an intro thread. Everyone made me feel welcome, in the time I've been a member I've had some great laughs n good fun gaming with the everyone here, I consider them my friends not just my clan. If you need cheering up everyone is there to cheer you up, if you need some help/advice then everyone will gladly give you some. PGO is a damn good thing to be part of.

Playstation Gamers Online is a clan which puts great effort in being a friendly community, i've been a member since Feb 08, and have enjoyed my time here, although you're not expected to initially get on with all members  , in time you'll get used to the sarcasm, questions, queries, complaints and people not showing up to events  , and you'll enjoy every moment of it.
For those of you who like it competitive, you can take part in games against other clans, or play against other members of the clan and create rivalries amongst yourselves, regardless of your playing skill.

I found PGO via GodfatherObie, who I started gaming with on Fifa 09 after joining his Fifa Clubs team. Obie was my first real online friend and completely changed online gaming for me. Before meeting him my friends list was empty.  Anyways, he told me to check out PGO if I was interested in joining a clan and excellent gaming community then they were the ones to join. So I decided to bite the bullet and introduce myself and see if I was worthy of joining them. Instantly I was very warmly welcomed by everyone in the clan, and quickly became a fully fledged PGO member in February 09. Since then my friends list has filled up with people I actually consider to be my friends. I have enjoyed every minute of being a part of PGO and I hope this long continues.

I have been a member of Playstation Gamers Online since May 2009, I have been playing online for at least 3 months prior to me joining PGO with friends and family and i wanted to join a clan who i can have a game with. I looked up on the ps3 forums and saw that PGO were recruiting members so I came along to the site as instructed, I felt welcomed as soon as I joined and I knew from the initial reaction that I had come to the right place, PGO did not look at my gaming capabilities and I was always invited in to different games and leagues, and most important thing of all I have had a good laugh there is no point gaming with a clan if you're not playing with a smile, and I have a big smile on my face every time play with my friends (like everyone know's lol).
